@5inthehole Yeah it is sad.
BTW, John Lennon started heroin only after the "Let It Be" sessions (which ended on february 1969). His heroin phase all happened only in the year of 1969 where he never shaved for like 4 months. The Bed-In = Desintox. In 1968, Lennon was only doing pot, maybe hash, and LSD. This interview is 3 days after he got busted for pot. Also, he only sniffed heroin, he never injected anything, neither the other Beatles.

@sinning1966 After he had his first child he started living "a normal" life. But a few years after this, Lennon would have his "Lost Weekend" (about a year) of drinking and drugging on the west coast. An Irony and tragedy of Lennon's life is that when he finally got it together and was with peace with himself, that asshole had to go and shoot him. Very sad.

@sinning1966 Briefly, he hated spending for stupid things, he only wanted certain objets he'd like or need. Don't think he would have live the same way as the fab four where they had the sports car and the chicks, and even that, this was rarely: they had to tour everyday until late 1966 where they just wanted to calm down.
