I think it's a poor ass excuse to thugs, low lives, satistics, drug addicts, prostitutes, and drug dealers, the history of our black and Spanish people, repersents we are the choosen children of God, but majority of our people like trash, and celling drugs to our own people, black on black crimes, and killing our own people, just because we poor dont mean we gotta live like savages, the white man love it.

City Planners and Politicians who wanted New York to be exclusively upper class, decided to build "Housing Projects" to "House" Poor black and hispanic people. In Brownsville they took it to unprecedented levels by constructing 100 buildings in one square mile, they knew exactly what the outcome would be, and they proceeded anyway.. Out of sight, Out of mind. Now do you understand?

@IzzyIsou What is really pathetic is that City Planners and Politicians who we are supposed to trust, decided to build 100 housing projects in 1 square mile of territory. If that is not a set up I don't know what is. Ask Mr. Cuomo what he thought about the Idea back in the 70's, he concluded that there would be unprecedented crime in this area, and then he signed the bill that allowed the construction to begin. @lavell0830 Lavel you are obviously an Idealist and NOT a realist. Reality check, 100 Buildings over 800 stories = about 40,000 people in one square mile and they are all poor folks. Reality Check, name one place in the world that is this condensed, that's right zero. Reality Check, City Planners knew what would happen as a result and decided to build anyway. Sad to say but this many poor people cannot coexist in such a small location, not their fault, City should be ashamed.

@harleyboxer40 harley you are silly. This is Brownsville Brooklyn, why would they go to Detroit? Would anyone from your Detroit Neighborhood go to Brownsville? You make no sense. The fact is that this is a sad situation, Nowhere in the world are there so many damn Housing Projects in such a small area, its too bad that the government and city planners did this. They knew what would happen.

You can say what you want about these kids, but know this, any ethnicity or race that is put in this situation would be no different. City planners knew with certainty that this would be the outcome of building this many Housing Projects in such a small location. I mean seriously 1 square mile 100 buildings over 800 stories filled with poverty stricken people? If that is not a set up then I don't know what is.

Brownsville has the highest concentration of public housing in the nation. Within one square mile, the community comprises more than 873 stories in over 100 different buildings. If that is not a set up then I don't know what is.
