You've got great control, i struggle to not bury the beater into the head cos when i do release the beater it tends to bounce and i get unwanted beats. Need a lot more practice i suppose. I love that bass drum sound by the way.

You certainly play the hell out of a bass drum man! Quite impressive

so when i play with my hell pretty much on the ground like usual, i cant play very fast or loud. but if i try with my heel up i seem to loose all my control. Does that come with practice? also when i have my pedal looser obviously it doesn't play as fast but when i tighten it i cant seem to play fast. im like screwed either way haha. am i just screwed without the "golden foot"?

Anyone can aquire a "golden foot" simply by practicing and watching your form. I suggest keeping a tighter spring tension, just see if you can exercise your calf muscle. Keep the ball of your foot around the middle of the footboard to maximize the fulcrum of the pedal, similar to the fulcrum point when using sticks.
