lol play lost planet 2 it is way harder than this and it is the first boss fight and the 2 hardest boss there is in the game

This boss has a pattern of attacks depending what spot you shoot it at a specific time.

Reminds me a lot of the final form of Gohma from Zelda the Wind Waker. Go check it out and tell me it doesn't have pretty much the same weaknesses (eye, ceiling falling in) and overall body structure. Still, it's a pretty fun fight regardless.
