A disabled man with a terminal illness wants the law changed in the UK to allow assisted suicide, and give dignity to those that face a painful death.

  • We could make it like an option on the NHS... I'm sorry Mr Smith but you do not qualify for further treatment; however we can offer you assisted suicide..? It's a good way to cut down costs in the NHS and free up beds.

  • Our lives are the one and only thing we truly own. If someone is suffering greatly with no way out, it is cruel to force such a individual to stay alive against their will.

    We shouldn't force a living hell on someone, just to satisfy the moral elitism of those who don't have to live with what they go through on a daily basis. Safety measures should of course be in place in case it is a temporary emotional state, but there should be a way out for the few with a intolerable quality of life.
