  • @upbrakie

Judging by the hissing from ATSF #3415, ATSF #3415 is a steam locomotive. Steam locomotives aren't in use anymore, and since that time, diesel locomotives have taken over, continuing to haul what the steam locomotives used to haul, such as coal and other freight, and sometimes even passengers! I've been on the railway line on Maynard Street, just up from Wendy's, and the railroad running that line is the Lycoming Valley Railroad.

  • @trainlover479 They have a switch that connects with BNSF. But the engine has friction bearings, not roller bearings, and I think they don't allow friction bearings on the main.

  • @atsf3415dbr are they linked to the grid? they could take that on the mainline if they want it to go faster

  • @trainlover479

    1. They have only 5 miles of track

    2. Their track is in BAD condition; I've walked on their tracks before and there are many broken ties (I mean broken like in half) and their rails are somewhat warped.

  • @atsf3415dbr why so slow??????????? She should be going fast not so slow

  • @MrCraig1930 Still remember how to run one? :)
