This is a brief updated tutorial from my last render settings tutorial which can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xa_HDxpX04M

The settings were requested in part by KatsuCross and I decided to make a tutorial to show it. Sorry about the quality derp at 2:01. Blame Camtasia for that.

Enjoy!

  • How long would it take to render, say a 5 minute video?

  • @cooljayden Probably not more than 20-30 minutes maybe. Depends also on how much memory consumption your computer can handle.

  • sorry to ask so much but i almost got it perfect im just having one problem whenever my videos finished whenever something moves fast or walk it looks all rippled and liney, i dunno what to do man

  • @KatsuCross Ok, the original m2ts files don't do that but the output files do? This could be something to do with your computer's specs...

  • hey dude i only have sony vegas 9.0 so i dont have that certain setting, do you know if theres a different setting i can use? thanks alot man!

  • @KatsuCross Are you talking about the project template? if so, you can make it-- just choose 1280x720-30p and change the framerate to 59.940 double NTSC and save a new template.

  • Ehm on the PVR Program, it says 30 frames per seconds but i want 60? how do i change? i got PS3

  • @playbradlyplay actually this morning i figured out the problem, and its so simple it makes me feel stupid...ok the project settings are at 59.970FPS, but the rendering puts it down to 29.970FPS which caused the lines and poor quality, i made it to 59.970FPS and after about a hour and half of rendering it looks soo perfect!! so i finnaly got the right settings now, thanks for your help man and sorry if i was a bother.

  • @playbradlyplay ah ok thx man, uhm btw sony vegas 9 doesnt have the internet render setting, i found something exactly like it but instead of 8Mbit, its 6Mbit, will that affect it dramatically? or will it be fine?
