Maybe it's not a real ham radio stuff, but You have to be a licenced ham radio operator to use that program. I use MixW for digital mode (RTTY). For detals, visit: http://qsonet.com/index.html

  • This is not Amateur Radio. Radio waves aren't used, the internet is. This is just like Skype, Teamspeak or Ventrillo, but disguised as a radio transceiver. Go ahead and call it Amateur VoIP or Amateur VoIP Radio, but it will never be true Amateur Radio.

  • @tkdteen2 It's VOIP ... Google it !

  • I use CQ100 often to talk to a friend in a VA hospital who otherwise couldn't use ham radio. I operate 20 meters everyday using CW and SSB but still use CQ-100 using the same computer that operates my Flex Radio 5000A. I also have the capability of relaying CQ100 over the ham bands and vice versa so that some people can experience being on the air.

  • Its not a real radio, never wil be!

  • I think its coming though his sound card because my psk software picks up carzy things in everyone says it picks up off the sound card what ever goes to it or comes out I THINK!!

  • I have CQ100 and would also like to use PSK31 and RTTY with MixW which I also have. How did you get the audio back and forth? I saw a program call VAC 4.9 which might do it for me? Nice video, Thanks. AL K3ROJ
