In Honor Of Street Fighter 4 - Foxy vs Tai

Honoring Street Fighter 4, I bring you a series of epic battles from past Capcom titles and other games influenced by Street Fighter. This is "Brutal: Paws Of Fury" (1994, Gametek),
a fighting game based entirely on animal characters. There's an African lion,
a mean-looking bear, and a rat that does Muay Thai. I half-expected Chester Cheetah and
Kung Fu Panda to pop out the screen ripping heads off and eating babies. No, it's a mediocre cartoony game that attempts to cash in on a popular genre. The gameplay is a little awkward, since the fighters seem to stretch their limbs and hit empty air, but actually manage to do damage. It's got somewhat colorful graphics, and the
characters themselves are fairly cute. There's simply not enough depth
or variety in "Paws Of Fury" though, which is probably why animals are used
sparingly in fighting games.
