The War is a documentary inspired by Donnington True's "History of the War of the Kingdoms." It tells the story of a war between the Kingdoms of the Men, Elves, Dwarves and Orks from the point-of-view of the men and women who experienced it.

With illustrations by Aaron Acevedo and Jessica Kauspedas, voice actors and sound effects.

@LordStrange I can see what you mean, especially if in the setting of the War that's the final truth of the matter, but it's my understanding that "dwarf" (like "elf" which funnily enough was a term for "small humans" at a certain point in history) primarily comes from Germanic folklore through the rattling filter of shared words.
