This is the opening of the Truckhaven 4x4 Training and Obstacle Course. The Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was March 4th during the 49th TDS Desert Safari. State and local dignitaries as well as representatives from the State Parks Trail Crew, Ocotillo Wells SVRA, WE Rock, Tierra Del Sol and Mopar were all in attendance. This kicked off a spectacular weekend with lots of guests, vendors and trail fun.

Where exactly is this place in ocotillo? Looks like an awesome thing to watch! And, I am a dirt bike bike rider, and would much rather see the land turned into this, than have it become a fenced in area with nothing going on inside but some stupid endangered weed growing!

to who ever put that place together: thank you for taking away great dirt bike and quad riding and so that the off-roader idiots can have even more places to play around at.

Very cool video, did not get to see a lot the stuff that was in the video including the new 4X4 training coarse, will have to check it out when I'm out that way again.
