  • If memory serves me correctly, Jerry Ver Dorn and Monti Sharp (Ross and David), out of character, spoke to the audience at the end of the Election Day 1992 episode about how important it is to vote.

  • Happy Days are Here Again - interesting choice ! I guess there was a certain feeling that change was in the air...Ahh..I will miss you GUIDING LIGHT...now in it's last season on CBS

  • I see that in the credits..Thanks for pointing that out ! Today, GL doesn't even show the names of guest appearances..they only show the cast members...Sheesh...I loved her as Mrs. Renfield.

  • The old woman here who's talking to Ross is played by Beulah Garrick. She was on GL in the early 80s playing Mrs. Renfield, the mysterious housekeeper in Quinton McCord's mansion.

  • I always looked forward to the cast photos in the closing credits. For most of the years they had the photos, the last scene was of Michael Zaslow smiling at viewers, essentially wishing them well. It was a nice feeling. There are some other lovely moments in there too. It's hard to remember shows even had closing credits.

  • I wish the daytime soaps would have stayed in this format. They were more fun, exciting, intriguing, and so much more than what they are today.

  • Election Day 1992, I was a freshman in college and this was the first episode of GL I ever watched.

  • Yeah. He decided that he wanted Blake more than the job. Another wonderful set from classicGL. I loved the end credits with the entire cast list. I think the year on this is 1992.

  • He voted for Leo, right?
