@Skeleflexcrazy I have no idea. It didn't do anything to me until I looked it in the eyes, which is hard not to do because they have a really captivating gaze. I had walked right next to it about 3 minutes before it attacked me and it didn't really care. I just figure it saw me as threatening since I looked it in the eyes.

@undeadpresident r u sure it wasn't a mother because they tend to protect there young very dangerously even some animals have been known to fight to the death so that owl could of been 1 of the 2 parents

Owl's will attack people if you intrude on their territory. I had one claw me in the head two days ago. Kinda scary because you can't hear or see them coming.
