....and full of woody compounds,distasteful,astringe
nt. I've tried the time with my Odea Go and the knob selection on "espresso"..........oh my god are 9 seconds!! to have the espresso this mean that a LOT of coffee aromas are still in the powder. No comment...

Well.....I've found how make the true italian espresso:
coffee: 7 grams
water temperature out of brewer: 88° C +/- 2° C
coffee temperature in cup: 67° C +/- 3 ° C
Pressure of water injection: 9 bar +/- 1
time to have the coffee in cup: 25 sec. as 1 ml. per second are 25 ml. the right dose
if the espresso is pour in 15 seconds means that a lot of coffee aromas is still in the powder, so the coffee result is more bitter and poor of aroma. If the espresso is pour in 35 seconds the coffe is bad ..

well, first you need a good machine. Second, calibrate correct grinding. And finally NOT to use cheap supermarket cofee. Looking results, you fulfill the three conditions

Good effort!
My only comment is your extraction is too fast. What the looks of your video, it took ~15 secs to extract a double if that is what you are trying to achieve.
The shot was extracted to fast. This explains why the color appears too blonde. A fast extraction will extract fewer coffee solids and less infusion. Translating to less coffee solids and overall taste.
Recommend grinding finer. And if you can, try raising the temp up higher.
Good luck!

The same way that I as a person who enjoys a good cup of coffee - even though I can't make one myself - go about calling all the semi-barristas here "coffee-geeks" or anything like that. Saeco is perfect in that way, that it's fast and easy and makes a decent (it does) espresso, for people who cannot spend hours with an original Faema or likewise, trying to pull the divine "shot". Peace, in the name of coffee!

Thanx a lot! Pretty funny coincidence actually! Trust me, I looked at Daniel's video. Ofcourse, there's something different about "real" espresso and the espresso you make on the Saeco. I never said that. On the other hand, I think (I know) that many people enjoy an espresso from their Saeco, and I see no need to be patronizing, just because you're a quasi-barrista (cont.)
Peace, Daniel! I'm not a coffee connoisseur, but that remark wasn't exactly useful! Comment somewhere else, please!

The steamer is connected to the same water tank as the coffee machine itself. This means you first make the espresso, then you can steam the milk. This is usual for this kind of machine. With the more expensive machines you get a seperate water intake for the steamer.
The steamer is very decent and does a good job for steaming milk for up to 3-4 cups of caffe latte in one go.
