Canon EOS 40D 6.5fps shutter sound

I think this sound is not so poor, but not so silent.

I wonder why the sound from the front and from the back differs so much...

At the front, it is *cling cling cling*

At the back, it is "flock flock flock*

@borden17 He may have taped over the logo. I've seen street photographers do this to theirs. Try it, its amazing how less conspicuous it makes the camera look. And yes I know a big DSLR like this isn't a natural street camera, but some use it and thats what they do to their logos! :)

while i like the sound i have my own 40D but its nice to hear my computer talking the same language
