The Adumu, that is repeatedly seen in African documentaries is usually called the "jumping dance". This particular dance is performed by the men of the village, who leap into the air to show their strength and stamina as tribal warriors............... and of course, to land some hot mamas!

  • Love the spirit man, but those guys are genetically selected for hang time. Hi man gets rich girl and has more offspring.

  • @piperjohn3 Thnx for the comment! I know, they definitely made it look effortless! We were told that the tallest one out of the bunch actually got a tryout with the Kenyan National Basketball Team! I'm friends with 2 guys who actually made the team years ago and starred in a movie with Kevin Bacon - The Air Up There

  • He was doing alright with the first times jumping but that last massai he was jumping with..just couldnt get up there with him

  • @princenitty Very true! That last massai had some serious springs! He probably said to himself, "Time to show this tourist what athleticism is really like" lol!
