For Eternity - words & music by Rita dePetris Vallis
A native of Philadelphia, Rita attended Curtis Institute, then went on to an exciting and successful career singing opera and performing concerts throughout the U.S. and Europe, including appearances with the Philadelphia Orchestra and T.V. Spectaculars. She thrilled the audience at Radio City Music Hall at special Christmas and Easter shows.
Rita is well known in Italy where she studied and worked under famous conductor Guiseppe Pais at La Scala,Milan. Settling in Stuart, Florida she had the joy of being responsible for many high school students obtaining scholarships to our Universities due to her exemplary "Bel Canto" instructions.

I took Voice from Mrs. Vallis in the early 90's. I believe her to be an integral part of OPUS in Martin County. Those of us from this small boring town, were and are still lucky that this wonderful woman settled in Stuart! When she arrived to this town, the population was under 20K. Mrs. Vallis, within 2 lesson's moved me in choir from Alto to First Soprano. Anytime I am praised regarding my singing, I ALWAYS give her credit because she helped me find the music in my voice!
