On, Nov. 1, 2011, The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee was honored to present the 18th annual Joe Kraft Humanitarian Award to Amy Grant and Vince Gill for their dedication to the betterment of Middle Tennessee and unmatched philanthropic spirit.
Together, Grant and Gill have dedicated themselves to supporting a broad range of charitable causes, and to making life better for others. While being deeply involved with national charities such as Challenge America and The Red Cross, the couple has also invested their philanthropic spirit in the Middle Tennessee community. With their individual and joint work with Mental Health Association of Middle Tennessee, Project Redesign, and Samaritan Ministries, among many other local causes, they have made a difference in the lives of many.
