Videotaped on August 5, 2010, in South Carolina, as Kershaw County Deputy Sergeant Oddie Tribble mercilessly beats handcuffed inmate, Charles Shelley, with a baton, breaking his leg in the process.
Sorry shadow0414 but it is this bad. The officer recieved 63 months in prison. Testified that the prisoner threatened the officers family, which such is likely a criminal offense itself. But the answer is additional charges, not beating with the baton. An otherwise good officer who let his emotions get him fired/jailed.
And to solopixy0... Really? So in your world ALL cops are bad and NONE help others? Exercise your brain please. You might find the world more interesting then.
Although this looks bad, im sure there is more to it than we are seeing. We don't know if there is something in his pands that the officer needs to get and he was resisting by kicking, so therefore he needed to break his leg. also the fact that there is NO volume is a huge factor. Im sure this isnt as bad as it seems
