Fatal Fury Special version for the PC engine Super CDrom2 system, It needs the Arcade card for work. The conversion is great and the gameplay is same as the original, but the PC engine pad is not the best for play this kind of games.

  • The SegaCD one actually runs in lower res mode (not the 320x224 mode most Genesis games run). Either does the cart version of the Genesis one.

  • This one's an excellent port! The characters are the same size as the arcade with all animation frames intact, all stage effects (e.g. sliding doors of Geese's stage), breakable objects, and even the intros are intact. All you need to do is get a six button pad :)

Saludos

  • Definitely the best home console (non Neo Geo) version. This port is really amazing and has a nice AST that's different from the Neo Geo CD version.

  • there is a couple sitting by the fountain, calmly watching the fight...

  • @bigolebadassbob I believe atleast a few characters are missing some frames of animation on the PC engine version.Duck King is definitely missing some frames of animation. He`s silky smooth on the Neo Geo AES Version.

  • @barlog20

I don't think the 16 playable characters have any missing frames, but some background animations do (e.g. the dancers have less moves), and some background details are a tad simplified. I guess they did that to speed up the loading time. It's still pretty close to the NeoGeo original, say compared to the SNES or the Sega-CD ones.

  • @bigolebadassbob That`s not true,I have this for the Neo Geo AES and in this PC Engine version Duck King and his background stage is Missing lots of Frames of Animation and effects. And a some other Characters have a some missing Frames of animation.
