I have two recordings of the piano duet version of The Rite of Spring on my channel (Tilson Thomas & Grierson, Eden & Tamir). Both are from 1968 and both claim to be the first recording of the entire duet! Surely one of them is actually the first...!

The Rite of Spring is my favorite composition. I didn't think I would like the piano version so much. It actually sounds more deranged and harrowing on this single instrument.
