Ever want to find a Tweet on a specific topic? Twitter search works pretty well, but often shows you a ton of noise, like folks who are retweeting the original news you want. Research.ly has built an awesome new service for helping you look up Tweets and people. It goes way beyond anything else I've seen so far. Definitely will be something that Twitter pros will want to look at.
An absolutely mouth watering mix of capabilities that will unfortunately not be affordable, nor convertible into a return, for the millions of small businesses who need this type of clarity from their social stream. Still, this will no doubt be a very popular solution for large corporations. Unfortunately with this price structure and given that we we deal with hundreds of local, regional, national, and a handful of small multi nation clients, I am unlikely to see many deployments of it.

Good powerful stuff, but the business model seems faulty. If there is a $99 a month membership, they will surely FAIL to stay in business. They need to open it up wide, secure more investment to expand then SELL it to Twitter for a couple of Billions. But that will never happen without proving popularity by the people and even though they might interest a few journalists and researchers, that will never be enough to attract the numbers needed to make Twitter and others take notice and PAY B!
