You know those Fish shaped pastries you see in anime all the time well this is how they're are made. There's no fish in them whatsoever, they're usually filled with Anko(sweet bean paste), or custard

If you live in Los Angeles, Go to Little Tokyo and ask the information Kiosk for directions to Genki Living, They make great Taiyaki, If you live in the San Gabriel Vally area of LA Go to 651 W Duarte Dr, Arcadia, CA and go into the shopping area, Genki Living will be on the west side of the complex.
