Thinking Allowed - Sanskrit Tradition
Duration: 23:28
Taken: 04 June 2006
Location: Israel
Prof. Dean Brown points out that most European languages can be traced back to a root language that is also related to Sanskrit - the sacred language of the ancient Vedic Hindu religions of India. Many English words actually have Sanskrit origins. Similarly, many Vedic religious concepts can also be found in Western culture. He discusses the fundamental idea of the Upanishads - that the essence of each individual, the atman, is identical to the whole universe, the principle of brahman. In this sense, the polytheistic traditions of India can be said to be monistic at their very core.
Brahma = ever expanding, brahmastra = nuclear bomb , expanding of atoms and colliding creates nuclear explosion.

Among Europeans,Greeks have old culture and literature. But,the entire Greek literature not even 10% of huge Vedic literary Corpus which exclude thousands and thousands of manuscripts still sleeping across many libraries in India and the world yet to be deciphered.
So,you people mean to say those Aryans got mysterious knowledge on touching Indian soil to surpass in literature and architecture above those original Aryans if migrated!
Good sense among you people!
Keep your fraud with you!!

@MahaVakyas It is true I started with Western Scholars. It has only been recently that I have begun to find superb present day Indian Scholars...primarily at the Universities (many Western).
You can transpose historical dates all you want. You can modify history with the most vain-glorious fantasy all you want...won't change a thing.
I don't need to be lectured by you about anything.
The motivation and intent behind this nonsense is becoming increasingly obvious.
Did not originate India.

@97448able Please do some research before pontificating on these things as matter of fact. You are commenting with half-knowledge which is far more dangerous than no knowledge at all. For instance, the MahabhArat war took place in 3138 BCE. At that time, the Vedas were already considered "ancient". How can the Rig Veda be composed around 1500 BCE if they were considered ancient in 3138BCE? Do yourself a favor and read some real Indian history by INDIAN historians, not some euro-trash.

@MahaVakyas Wikipedia is not always accurate; however, for a quick start it is usually ok. In this case I accept it as accurate: "Tantra fully developed Gupta period" 320 - 550 CE. Many if not most Scholars would probably accept around 1400 BC as a good date for the compilation of the Rig Veda; with, oral transmission prior to that. I am of course using a "Westerners" sense of time which is Chronological and Aristotelian; which also, I assume these two Western halfwits are using also.

@97448able Wikipedia is a cesspool filled with anti-Indian and anti-Hindu articles written by halfwits and untouchables (westerners)... The Tantras have arisen from the Agamic principles that are part of the corpus of HIndu philosophy... The Veda is not a monolithic book like that of the desert cults' (torah/bible/quran).. they are perennial knowledge that is forever existent and for someone to "hear" them (Sruti), they have to be in a super-consscious state of SamAdhI....
