Open Carry Group Banned

Members of the group "Bay Area Open Carry" have begun meeting at the popular coffee chain after being told they could no longer do so at two other chains -- California Pizza Kitchen and Peet's Coffee because -- as one member told San Francisco station KGO-TV -- they're uncomfortable with the idea.

I honestly think more people should carry their side arm openly, instead of concealed. I would worry if I were to see someone bend over and see a gun, meaning they have a reason to hide it. I would worry about someone openly carrying it because you see it, know it as being there. Now if they looked in any manner negative then I would have a reason to contact authorities. Guns don't kill people, idiots kill people.

People who oppose the open carry are incredibly naive. Especially now that we have the repeat offender prison population roaming around victimizing everyone. Our broken criminal justice system does not adequately address the repeat offender problem. Criminal courts all over are backlogged, jails and prisons are overcrowded. Nobody seems to care until they become a victim. Law-abiding citizens should open carry everywhere.

I build custom firearms but these guys do not need to be pushing the boundries and carrying weapons openly in public. Had a guy come over to my house once for dinner and he thought he could keep a loaded Glock on his his hip when he entered my house. I said ahhh, No sir, you are not allowed to carry loaded weapons in my home. The 2nd amendment isn't going anywhere, have a little decency if you need to carry go concealed and don't do it for shits and grins, only if you need too which is rarely.

here in central Ohio cops certainly don't prevent crime they simply show up 40 minutes after a crime has been committed & make a report & leave,, maybe its just me but I don't think that a copy of a report will make the victim feel better, certainly didn't work for me when i was a victim of a burglary & assault , got me a 12ga & a 44mag & it hasn't happened since,
