Rachel Flowers is 16 years old. She started playing the piano when she was 2. Here is what happens when you allow a child prodigy to listen to your record collection...

I'm sorry the angle wasn't wide enough to see, but as you can hear, she is playing the bass pedals as well.

  • But you didn't start twirling the organ and slamming it down on the stage? What about stabbing the keys with a large bowie knife?

    J/K :-)

    Another excellent performance.

  • @bubblabu I hid the kitchen knives... (Rachel's mom)

  • I certainly do not want to say if there is a midi but if you have the midi or sheet music for this song

  • @AlessandroPeruzzi79 I apologize. I misunderstood your earlier question. No, I'm afraid we do not have sheet music nor midi for this. Sorry!

  • you are truly sublime. you have the sheet music or midi?

  • @AlessandroPeruzzi79 Thank you for the comment! Rachel learned this by ear. She is playing everything live here, including bass pedals which you unfortunately can't see in the video (sorry!). There is no midi involved.

  • This girl, Rachel, is so amazing !!!! i get goose bumps listening to her.

if I were Keith Emerson i'd send her a vintage B3 yesterday...

  • Someone get this girl a proper instrument!!! Ay Yay yayYYYY!

  • Way to go Rachel!!!! Awesome!!!!

  • Watching Rachel play, it's dawned on me that she must have multiple compartments in her mind to be kicking pedals, changing tab setting and working both keyboards all at the same time. What a little phenom and truly fascinating entertainer to watch, even with the flubs.

  • Rachel, have you heard the David Letterman version of this song? It's here on YouTube. Having a weakness for ostinato, I love the middle/improv section on that version.

  • @ritchieswann

    Very good.

Can you send me your sheet music of "america" by email to "arvec@libero.it ?

  • @ritchieswann

    Very good.

Can you send me your sheet music of "america" by email?

  • @arvec2 : I have some sheet music of my version of this, although it isn't as good!

  • I've been playing piano for about 30 years and gigging in bands for 20, so I guess it means something when I say Rachel can probably play me under the table. I remember trying to play this when I was a lot younger, doing one hand a time, and there's no way I'll ever be able to play it this comfortably without any hint of a wrong note. If she can do the intro to Genesis' "Firth Of Fifth" as well, then I think I'll pack up and go home now :-)

  • I can't find any sheet music for this song :( and I want to play this so bad...And I can't play by ear because.....I'm not good enough.... If anyone find any MIDI files or sheet music... could you please tell me.....
