This is Tom Anderson (tomnovint), Novint's CEO, with a first look at the Novint Falcon Pistol Grip and Novint's shooter games (FPS and 3rd person). It shows how the pistol grip works, how it controls games and how it reacts to events in games. The video also shows a number of games that work with the Falcon and many upcoming games.

I'm not making those asumptions you say i throw your way, im making an obvious observation that is purly based on how the brain works and how basic physics work. As ive said i have not tested it, but its quite easy with basic logics on how its explained to work draw very simple conclusions. Im not saying it doesnt look like fun as i like shoot em up, but im saying that you cannot possible get the same precision.
Hey lassek85, no offense intended on your comment. My point is just that the Falcon's control scheme is different than a mouse's, so you can't assume that things that work well for one work well for the other and vice versa. The best argument I can make is the proof I've seen of it with my own eyes. I've seen incredible precision from Falcon based users. We're making a sniping video with our resident expert sniper to make the point. thx, tomnovint
Hey MrSnIcKeRz2, The Falcon works with some mods such as Portal : Prelude Slums 2 Curse Minerva: Metastasis Research and Development
basically mods built of the HL2:Ep1 or Ep2 engine. The F-Gen drivers should be a good solution for non supported mods. Also, we're happy to work with mod developers to add Falcon support if they need some source code access, etc.
There is a special right now (too late to arrive in time for Christmas at this point, but you can get the holiday pricing) for a white Falcon at 174.99 and you can find referral member codes out there for an additional 20% off, bringing the Christmas price to 139.99
I can understand that sentiment. I think for the value you get, it is very reasonably priced (in essence the Falcon is a high end robot), and the level of game improvement is pretty revolutionary according to most of our customers. When you think of the added benefit you get over other game hardware purchases, I think the value is there. You can keep an eye out for specials too where the price is cheaper. You can also find referral codes from people to get 20% our website price.
