Governor Jennifer M. Granholm and First Gentleman Daniel G. Mulhern took the new Chevy Volt out for a spin around Lansing. The Volt is assembled at General Motors' Detroit-Hamtramck Assembly Plant, and the battery packs are assembled in Brownstown Township.

  • @dkkght46 I read the facts of every book and other reading materials

  • @RichardJoash Hey, how did your mother like taking it up the ass from me you assclown?

  • @dkkght46 that makes you a total loon and a total bullshit

  • @RichardJoash Bullshit..yeah right loon. Read and weep F'stick. GM Volt had its worst sales month since August. GM sold 603 Volts GM sold about 7,700 in 2011, below GM’s target of 10,000. GM abandoned its sales target of 45,000 for 2012 last month, saying it would match “supply to demand.” LAMO....

  • @dkkght46 you are a bullshit

  • Scott Oldham at Edmunds.com "GM lied to the world". Another failed liberal attempt to tell people what to drive, what to buy, how much money they can make, what to think,...what to wear, what to eat, what to think. Electricity from subsidized windmills (only on windy days). Methanol produced through subsidies. (Cause it takes 1.2 BTUs of fossil fuel to produce 1 BTU of alcohol.) In a subsidized $41K,car nobody wants.

  • This guy working for GM sucks. He says it has different gears when it doesn't. He was surprised how seamless it is when the gas engine kicks in. Its a genset, why would it not be seamless, this isn't a plug in Prius.

  • Is there a feature to turn off the screen after a certain amount of time? It could be distracting. If the electric driving range were extended to about 80 miles I would really consider buying this since my round trip to work and home is 80 miles.

Going to miss the internal combustion engine in the future. But as far as I've researched electric has alot of advantages. So maybe I won't miss the ICE.:-)

  • Very cool, Gov! It will be nice when the price comes down, though.
