Absolutely overwhelmed - brilliant. Thank you BerlinPhil. The most proffesional orchestra in the world.

Here, Dvorak threw in some short passages for oboe and piccolo. Quite an exquisite tone colour! Love the way he explores different WW combinations!

What's the name of the oboist at 0:12? I've seen him countless times on YouTube...

Is it an encore?
I bet Simon Rattle would not play all the Slavonic Dances in once concert.
Great work, great orchestra, agitating!

It was some kind of overture for his concert on 6 January 2008, followed by Brahms's 1st Symphony.

Is it true that the average age of a musician in the Berliner Philharmoniker is roughly 30 years old? What a sound. I am an American, however I must say I have been hardpressed to find too many orchestras of this magnitude. Oustanding!
