The Wanamaker Mile 2008 at the 101st Millrose Games, in Madison Square Garden, won by Bernard Lagat, with the time of 3:57. A great race and a really nice guy to meet.

  • whats the name of the song playing when there racing i have to run to this haha

  • i like to go into a really fast sprint at the start for like half the track then be really out of breath and be like wow, i got a long way to go and then run slowly for a lap 1/2 until i recover then i go at a kind of fast pace then when i get to that last 100 metres i just sprint and win the race, i have never raced anyone but i know i beat everyone because i always do it in world record time and today i ran the mile at 1minute20seconds

  • @DeepCore214 would they allow a 16 year old to run in this because i can run a mile in 1minute20seconds and i really wanna show everyone who thinks they're so good at running that they're really not and i wanna make them feel slow and embarass them like usain bolt did to the sprinters

  • the track is 140m

  • Dem boys were flying. I would have preferred John Philip Sousa music but it was OK.

  • breaking the 5 minute mile is really good, breaking 4 minute...wow

  • they go so fast but look at lagat it looks so effortless

  • most tracks are 200m meters, but they vary. i have run on 150 and 160 meter tracks.

  • how big is that track? i thot indoor tracks were like 200ms? at least the one i use is

  • I don't know if I'm going to beat it or not. I'd just like to by the end of senior year.
