We used to watch this show as a family, I think it was on at 7pm CST on Saturdays. Great show! My dad would walk outside about 6:55 and yell "Emergency!!"

I remember watching this show[1981 I was 5] as a kid with my granny. It was one of her favorite shows.You can't pay kids these days to watch a classy show on TV.

Yeah, in these first season episodes, all the time, he sounds like he has a cold. Something else I've noticed, too. His hair is more reddish in these early episodes. Coincidence? Hmmm. What to make of those two details? Roy's my favorite character, though John does run a close second. Neither one of them can hold a candle to my favorite rock singer, the late great Michael Hutchence from INXS.
