Wooh, big hit on prices for you. We are getting about $250 per tonne (think that works out at around $6.85 bu) grain prices have fallen in general here but our major inputs of fertilizer and fuel have eased a little as well, but the year ahead... well same as you, mother nature will call the shots for us

We are mostly wheat and barley here, also grow sorghum and a small amount of corn (about 500 acres) we certainly don't get the yields you get over there. Are the grain prices holding up for you over there?

@97Buckie NO! dec 2011 corn futures here hit $7.75/bu. on august 29,2011 and they are currently at $5.84.corn got to high because.......now rents and all other imputs are alot higher and now next years dec 2012 futures are at $5.55/bu.with really good yields it will still work, but mother nature holds the key.
