Will has mouse brown hair. Not black. Simon, Barney and Jane were not in The Dark Is Rising (as in the second book).
No, he didn't, but they related Maggie Barnes to having a crush on Max in the book. Which is strange, because Max indeed WAS in the movie.

I really like the movie but that's probably because I had not read the book. I just finished it and I can see things that should have been put into the movie but there are always some things that have to be changed in order to make more sense.

Then don't name it after a popular book series and expect us not to be annoyed at the dumbing-down of a great story. Give it an unrelated name.

i know!i am on page 120 of greenwitch.will stanton has black hair!and where is simon,barney,and Jane?i thought it would be a cool movie, but i got disappionted.i already wish a different version would come out.and where did the girl come from,he didn't have a crush.book ruiners.

i hope some studio in the future will make another movie more superior and more faithful to the book.this movie disappointed many fans of the dark is rising sequence by susan cooper.
