CSX owns Dexter yard. We just interchange with them there. Before they enyer their yard we have to contact them for permission into it.

does union share any track rights with NS or csx?

they dont share trackage rights, but they do interchange with CSX, NS & W&LE

I'm back again here.. the Union does have trackage rights ( somewhat ) onto Norfolk Southern to switch out at Kenny Yard, which is operated by NS. CSX is possible, as I do not know if the Union switches out of the Dexter Yard Limits and into the outermost reaches of CSX's Demmler Yard..

My bet is you missed a slab train by a few hours. They've been having four units on those recently.
