Why don't I see people play Kurzweils on Pirate of Caribbean
song and other movie songs. I see people playing Tyros 4
and Yamaha CVP-509 playing those types of songs.
Can they produce the sounds needed to do it.

@Entropy56 the problem about instruments is not (anymore) to create them digitally, but play them by one SORT of instrument.And that is why we can still tell the difference betw. real guitars or strings and those being played on a keyboard. Technology enhances: the little joysticks on many keyboards nowadays - they can modulate a sound in 2 or even 3 dimensions - but its still a long way up to be able to play a saxophone-vst so real,that you can't tell the difference. but who knows... 10 years?

Why do people still play "real" acoustic instruments? Do these electronic pianos make them obsolete? Can a trained ear tell the difference?
