The crowd watching Huntsville's Veterans Day Parade Monday welcomed all of the marching soldiers - even the ones representing the Union Army.

This is probably the first time since before the Civil War that the Yankees was cheered by Huntsvillians.

The theme of the parade this year was "We Honor Those Who Serve."

The grand marshal was Lt. Gen. Kevin Campbell, commanding general of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command, with Maj. Gen. James Myles, commanding general of the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Life Cycle Management Command, as the reviewing officer.
