Pretty nice sound of that 3.0 V6 Diesel, and quiet fast for a sedan of that size :)

218hk @ 3 800rpm and 510Nm @ 1 600
0-100km/t: 8,6sec

THIS IS AN EUROPEEN VERSON CALLED THE 3OOC, THE US VERSION IS CALLED THE 300. AND IT DOES RUN ON DIESEL FUEL!! IF YOU DONT BELIVE THIS, CHECK wikipedia.com OR CALL Chrysler ;)

  • In Europe and Australia, the 300C is available with a 3.0 L diesel V6 engine (internal code OM642) developed by Mercedes-Benz

  • In Europe we can buy a 300C with a diesel Mercedes V6 3.0 engine. Mine has 277bhp & 660nm of torque. ( a tuning chip) If I hold it on the footbrake & rev it to 1800rpm before releasing the brake, It will crack off the 0-60 in 6.5 secs. And it only revs to 4000rpm . Yet will return 40mpg if driven gently. read it and weep!

  • VW make diesel cars for US consumption.

  • @SuperV8driver my old Mercedes W124 - 1986 year with Om 602 Diesel engine (2.5 D) get's up to 4500 :)

  • in Europe people pay a lot of atention to the consumption, in US even a poor guy will not be afraid of 5.0 :) ... this I call weird :)

  • i prefer my thirsty 5.7L V-8. But the consumption isn't to bad with the MDS =)

    Nice Car! =D

  • @RudolphOcker

well, I wouldn't say 40 mpg, but 35 mpg is possible if you drive real gentle.

  • @Hawkskill818 this diesel has got a torque like a big v8 !! 510 NM stock

  • @alexanderocks i also had a 300c CRD it never gets up to 4500 !!! but VW has got diesel engines that get up to 5500 ! and thats a lot for a diesel, cause if you drive an old v8 it wont get over 5500 !

  • @Zolega89 thats a fact

  • @alexanderocks

no, a diesel engine usually doesn't get higher than 4000 rpm

  • Americans only like cars with big engines witch drink a lot

  • @AndreasE46Fanatic yeah thats the one i have, very fast for its size and it takes only about 9L of diesel for 100km in town , very nice especially with todays gasoline prices
