"Art:21—Art in the Twenty-First Century" is a Peabody award-winning television series on contemporary art and artists.
The Season 5 episode "Compassion" premieres on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 10pm (ET) on PBS (check local listings).
"Fantasy" presents four artists—Jeff Koons, Mary Heilmann Florian Maier-Aichen, and Cao Fei—whose hallucinatory, irreverent, and sublime works transport us to imaginary worlds and altered states of consciousness.
