Jesse was a regular performer at the Montreal Folk Workshop in the 60's when he first came to Canada. We used to quietly hum along when he would play this sweet song with the haunting lyrics - it was something to be remembered. ( I think a beer was $0.45 then!) So now I want to share it with a friend from the day and I think that your performance is truer to the original rendition in its style than the video of Jesse here on youtube with its poor sound. Great job!! Thank you very much.
I love this one too, Alan. Both are wonderful! This one has me...literally waltzing on air... NAncy
