David Mills sings "Talk Back Trembling Lips," recorded with GarageBand '11

My own vocal rendition of the 1963 classic "Talk Back Trembling Lips," recorded using GarageBand '11 on my iMac. In addition to the vocal, I'm performing all the musical instruments: rhythm guitar (real instrument), bass guitar (real instrument), electric guitar (real instrument), piano (real instrument), strings (synthesized using a MIDI keyboard), and drums (synthesized using a MIDI keyboard). This song was recorded at my home in Huntington, WV, on April 25, 2011. The song was written in 1963 by John D. Loudermilk and originally recorded by a country singer named Ernie Ashworth, who enjoyed a #1 hit with the song. Shortly thereafter, Johnny Tillotson released a popular version as a crossover hit. Again in 1990, Becky Hobbs released a cover version, which did not chart but which graciously included a much-older Ernie Ashworth.
