He loved his power and mansions too much to risk starting another war and having the USA take all of it away. Saddam was never any threat. He just wanted to keep being president of Iraq. Phil Donahue is excellent and not afraid to speak the truth!! Even IF people volunteered for the service, they did NOT volunteer to go to war for OIL and DIE or be maimed for life! They did not decide to volunteer for WAR! Their lives and the lives of their loved ones will NEVER be the same and the father, mothers, sisters and brothers, sons and daughters, grandparents and grandchildren never wanted this war-so important to BUSH, the Republican party or the friends of Bush who are making bank!

Please keep up the good work and expose this war for what it really is. I am a huge fan. I cannot believe that in a country of hundreds of millions, there are so few people who will speak out. It's time the American's stop being afraid of the government. Here in Canada, it's the other way around. Mind you, we can see Harper, our Prime Minister, taking cues from Bush. We will watch him closely.

Fiery: that's a bs question. "Would you sacrifice your child for thus and such". The only honest answer anyone can provide is "NO", regardless what the cause is. You can support the war without personally fighting it, and you can oppose the war without being considered unpatriotic. BTW, McCain sacrificed bigtime in vietnam. What sacrifices have you made?
