how long have you been doing these plits stretches just that i have very tight hamstring muscles and i want to be able to do the splits agin

As you age it gets harder and harder, you will have to stretch longer and longer to get results that young children can get immediately. But I have been streching since I started MA so that would be 11 years, but since starting I got to where I am now in about 6 months. Try to follow this routine everyday, actually warm up before doing it and you should loosen up the hamstring muscles. Believe me I get tight hamstrings as well. Splits do not come easy for me.
