Humanism is what you are talking about 297. We are to preach the gospel than we are to care for the house hold of faith first and then go and preach the gospel to the lost. You use we are this and that, when you are talking about lost unsaved people are you saved or lost?? If your saved then stop putting yourself in a lost man shoes and trying to appease all men. Once you are saved we are to work out our salvation with fear and trembling, for our God is a consuming fire.

@metrosouthchuch ha! exactly, humanism is what i'm talking about but if you think "putting yourself in a lost mans shoes" can be equated with "appeasing all men" and that i should stop trying to relate to the lost, i have to respond, i will NOT stop trying to relate with a lost and dying world in need of Christ. if we're oblivious to how the world perceives us then i think we're less likely to make a lasting impact

@metrosouthchuch i agree, we are to work out salvation with fear and trembling, but i know MANY people whose relationship with Christ has some elements of human intellect mixed with Biblical truth to the point that they're following THEIR version of the gospel rather than letting the wisdom of God which is beyond our understanding, transform them, accompanied with the Word.we need to use our brains but not in place of God's truth

IF all other Christian thinks like that then....... I dont know where to turn to anymore....

I guess i'll hav to stay at home.. read my bible and pray to God and Jesus and thank him for all He did for me, for our sins...... I'm not sure if i'm a Christian OR Christ Follower..... i just want to live as He wanted us to live, me to live... ^^

@lThellRockl the purpose wasn't to say it's impossible to be a Christian in the world so therefore don't bother, but to say that as Christians in America, many of us take the attitude of the girl in the video. we may not ever say those things, but the way we live often doesn't reflect Christ in a real way-it's often fake and motivated by selfishness, rather than daily coming to Christ broken and in need of Him. hope that made sense

Funny vid but I'd like to point out Christ didnt call for Christians Christ called for people to follow him Christian was later added, if anything Christ just wants us to be a mere image of his love for us and to come together in celebration before him and teach

The Christian is a follower of Christ, anyone that does not follow Christ yet call themselves a Christian, takes the Lords name in vain. Jesus Christ did die for all of us, to save us from Sin, meaning to say... He gave us the power to gain victory over the sins in our lives. There is no salvation outside of Christ and without faith it is impossible to please God. So have faith and obey His voice, for He is our Shepperd and King. Keep the Commandments if you love Christ. <3

By posting this you are being judgemental and stereotypical. Not all christians are like this girl. I know all lot of christians who are really nice. I personally don't think that we should have a label. Its about a personal relationship with Jesus. Not about being a Christian or a Christ Follower. :)

And to the comment about hair cutting , dont take things out of context, i highly recommend you use an amplified bible, that teaches the hebrew words and greek as well, our hair is considered a covering, and jeans arent clothing pertaining to a man, pertaining means belonging to, so wives dont wear your husbands clothing... Its not a sin to wear shorts or jeans , as long as its not provacitive.

Umm to the allah lover, there is no such thing as one true religion, thats your first mistake, religion seperates and divides, you need a relationship with God, and follow his holy word, scholars have found that the holy bible provides accurate accounts, not the quran(however you spell it) your hate says it all... Jesus or yeshua ( hebrew) means yaweh is salvation or God is salvation, only through Jesus Christ can you be saved.

Screw you, mothug297, Christians are Christ followers, but the names sound different. The definition of Christian IS "Christ follower". You are intentionally making Christians look bad, but making those who selfishly try to look good by claiming to be "Christ followers". Besides, you just created two totally inaccurate stereotypes, both of which I and damn near every one of my friends do NOT fit into.
