  • In regards to the cello, he uses a foot pedal that switches on a pickup that gives better response for the low end to an amp beneath his chair - "boosts" the low end when he is pizzicatoing. From the web:

He uses an L.R. Baggs bridge pickup with a Baggs Para DI 5-band equalizer through a Gallien-Krueger bass amp. His music alternates frequently between bowing and playing the cello like a jazz bass. I use the pickup for pizzicato, he says, and turn it off and stick with a mic for bowing.

  • This is totally love this. So kick ass.

  • Was there tonight at the Dakota Jazz Club in minneapolis. People in this town are to reserved to show the love.... They did a tribute to Coltrane... Great Show!!! A love Supreme, A love Supreme, A love Supreme....ect

  • That,s great!

  • hmf...might just be a trick of the eye.

  • is mark summer playing with a 5 string cello?! it looks like it in the close ups, but...that is crazy if he is...

  • most of their music just has the chord progressions on it lol and mark solo is writen down but i think he improvises on it usually. But ive seen the sheet music for this and most of it is just slash marks in the bar and chord progressions over the bars. It looks crazy xD the music is just a guide.

  • I am most definitly going to buy their CD!!!!

Their talent, genius and music is beyond amazement.
