  • Hi,

I am French and Christian...but I am very enjoyed by this beautiful video. I love this song and this prayer (which celerate the Messiah expectation, if I'm not mistaken?). Can you tell us the key words in English, please? I liked it very much. Is a non-Jew may also attend this beautiful ceremony in this community?

  • @2merouma @2merouma So glad you enjoyed....it was very uplifting for us too. The prayer is from the "Hallel" prayer and is Psalm 118. "I thank you that you have answered me and have become my salvation.

The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.

This is the LORD's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes. This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

  • @2merouma Can you attend? Absolutely. We meet every Shabbat - be in touch the next time you're in Jerusalem or look up our website shirahadasha org il

  • There is a congregation in Yerushalayim called Shira Chadasha, an egaliterian Orthodox synagogue (I have family who go there), is this any relation? Anyway what a beautiful Video!

  • Yes, thats the same Shira Hadasha. Youre mostly welcome to visit us next time youre in Jerusalem.

  • Shalom from Malaysia!! I love this song!! oh and I'm learning Hebrews.. really helped me to understand the Bible more ..:)

  • Hi!

Thanks a lot for this video! Im from Russia, and i try to learn Biblical Hebrew, this is big help for me, and great verses.

Tell me pls, it seems to me: in verse 22 "Aven maasu abonim..." they skip word "maasu" (rejected)? This is some tradition or this only seems to me?

    Thanks!

  • @michaelfeigenson

I wonder if this has to do with the Christian feast of the branches ("Rameaux" in french). A week before his death, the Gospels say Jesus entered triumphantly into Jerusalem, people waved branches in its path and spread their garments before him, saying "Hosanna to the Son of David". The first Christians were Jews, would they have done this parallel, what do you think?

  • @michaelfeigenson

and what about Hoshana Raba, please ? The meaning of this beautiful and prayerful celebration (the video)?

  • @michaelfeigenson

    Thanks a lot.

If I can, when I can, I 'll be happy to meet you !

    Thanks again.
