AEM intake on 24v VR6. Sounds amazing, and you can feel the a huge difference between 3.5-4.5k rpm. Installation took some time, but in the end it was worth it.

Improves overall performance. Not just for the sound, trust me.

This is now an RX-8 killer . . .

  • how come in one of the pics, u had the bumper removed? I dont know if its any different for jettas, but for my vr6 golf, i didnt have to remove the bumper.. exact same system btw, AEM CAI

  • @GraveDiggerIII It was a choice. We didn't have to do it, but it was just for a clean install. It was cool to see down there anyway and it made for a nice pic haha

  • It's pretty damn sexy under the hood. That's for sure.

  • @JAkE92318 Thanks Man!

  • I would hate to have that when it rains

  • @sexteddy Were in Texas, were lucky when we get rain . . .

  • @slipcarefully hahaha you just made my day... I told them that when they made the video but they insisted.

  • I was going to use your video to get a quick idea of how much of a pain it will be to switch this out but the music in your video is unbearable so i'll try a different video.

  • what are the risks when it rains?

  • I have this setup made by Simota. Not sure whether I should install it. To be honest, the turbo fluttering sound is annoying as it is; plus the whole Beefer engine is just placebo in my opinion!

  • i live in Canada and i have a cold air intake... came with a protective shield so iunno what everyone is saying with a clogging up and rain and all that, works just fine for me

  • dint you get alot if water in the intake like that

  • I wish i didn't live in canada. You can't have cold air intakes on your all season car. Or else they get shit in them, water, and ice build up that clogs it so much you won't even be able to turn over your fucking engine :(

  • hey dude i got a cold air from ECS, it came with an aftermarket breather, i dont know what to do with the crank case breather now its just dangling there, any help?

  • @KishanPatel98 Yeah sure. I'll take a look at your video.

  • i also have this same set up and live in PA. the rain has not given me a negative effect. like JAkE92318 said. avoid large puddles and you're fine. even then the water would propel behind your vehicle. unless the water is above your front valence. but if you drive in those conditions. you're a fooool.
