Okay, so this song may be minor work from their later period...but making this video was one of the most fun experiences of my life...me and Mott shot it in Manchester the week OJ went crazy in the Bronco...Mark E. Smith was already crazy...he spat at the camera...he was five hours late for the shoot day, however...I've never done a video for an artist I actually was star struck by...and it was amazing...Manchester was amazing...the whistling girl was a random friend of Mark's he insisted be in the video...

Why do people keep comparing the Fall to Pavement? I've heard both compared to Sonic Youth; hell, I've heard Pavement compared to early Jesus and Mary Chain (I don't hear that one). They all take cues from the Velvet Underground, update elements of them (deadpan delivery, poetic lyrics, feedback). Why not just love all the bands? I do. :)
