So your calling the presidents of your country that held fund raisers at the white house dumb well thats something we can agree on my friend. OK if it where not for american government calming that the Uk was its largest sercuirty threat (hardly we have long been friends and aliies) then are goverment would have had to pass those anti terrorist laws that takle away rights. Which they never did with the more real threate the IRA because it makes things worse it should be BAU.

So please stop handing killers guns if you dont know what is going on. Once again old info Northern Ireland has become a free thinking and peaceful country (mainly). I am sorry are we living in the same world what doubt. I am Northern Irish what makes you think it is still unbalanced. Cause suprise suprise its not once again America is running on old intel. Get with the times please. There is no doubt Northern Ireland is and will remain part of the UK with its own local government. People are happy now because each sides voice is heard and each side has a say Stormount is no longer closed.

Some Americans people who helped fund the IRA were undoubtably dumb and uninformed, but I think you will find that with any organisation. Some were undoubtably very well informed too. Why is the US causing the UK to become a police state? Can you back up your arguments? Also, why do you keep saying the US was founded by terrorists? What is your definition of a terrorist? Do you mean anybody who doesn't accept the bullying of the crown?

As for Americans being dumb and uninformed, I think that's a bit unfair. Surely you don't expect Amerians to have as much knowledge as you about a small scale local problem! I think you would be better focusing on the dumb and uninformed people closer to home. There are many brainwashed and ignorant people in NI and it's so sad. You don't sound like one of them and you sound like a reasonable person, but I think you convenietly ignore some reality / want to brush some things under the carpet.

CONT - The only way to remove the doubt is British withdrawal and united Ireland OR nationalists accepting a 6 county state. If UK wants you how do you explain the empty Commons when there is a NI debate? Yes the IRA klled many innocent people, but the British Gov has blood on it's hands too all the while pretending to be honorable and impartial. I hope you don't expect me to applaud the UK gov for helping in finding a solution. It was the route cause of the problem and it made it worse too.

Most countries have violent pasts and it's natural that many are founded by terrorists or freedom fighters depending on what side of the fence you are on. I don't think it's fair to blame the US for Britain becoming a police state. I may be from an older generation than you, but I don't think you can blame a whole generation for a mess, I'm an individual. I am not disputing that NI has changed a lot, but it is still in an unbalanced state because of doubt over it's future political status.

Oh and just to mention alot of the terrorism was fund by dumb uninformed Americans. Not only that but alot of people would agree that over all the Brits dealt with terrorists alot better than the Americans are. We are only becoming a police state because of the Americans. First they lose the war on drugs and now think that somehow they can win this one its sad. Mainly because i think america has alot of potenial to be better although granted IT WAS FOUNDED BY TERRORISTS. Ture story.

Unionists and Nationalists where the ones with the death squads not the british. And acutally now things are alot better. the UK does want us now so get with times we changed we are strong and we are also wanted so deal with it.

OK just to let you know i am from NI and what you have just said well at least most of it is unture. Back down of the anti British proaganda thats what got the americans to fund the IRA who killed lawyers they didnt and many people. So did the other side but not the british. the british MPs had to clean up the mess that our old government made(they where NI MPs Not brits) and the whole Country are sick of it and just want peace. Which it appears we have now achived with the brits help.

The Honda Civic probably the car that gets the best gas mileage gets 36 miles to the gallon and that's on the highway.
No way your bmw got 35 miles per gallon.
No way your car even got even 22 gallons to the gallon combined highway and city driving.

google "2009 Honda Accord diesel to hit 52 mpg!" for what Honda is doing with diesels now.
