Btw, any comments on "I hate the gun company", or "airsoft is dumb", or any comments similar to the aforementioned, save your words for something else. I simply don't care =]

Chrome Polished Hi Capa 5 1 1911 Slide etc. review

Custom body work done by L0Tu5 using 1500 Wet Sand Paper.

Modification took around 4 hours to complete.

TUTORIAL!!
Make sure you have the following before proceeding.
1-2 sheets of 1500 Grit Silicon Carbide Sandpaper
1 sheet of 600 Grit Sandpaper (If Necessary)
Metal Polish (If you want it to be really shiny)
1 or 2 Bucket(s)
Cloth or Napkins
A steady hand and a lot of time
And obviously, your weapon of choice.

The cost of this was VERY LOW.
99 cents per sheet of Sandpaper at Do-It Center
Metal Polisher came in a bottle for about 5 dollars.
Time and Effort comes free with every person dedicated to outstanding quality.

1.Field strip or disassemble your gun
2.Place all parts that you dont need to sand aside.
3. Fill a bucket, or if you are using two, then fill both up.
4. CAUTION ONLY DO THIS STEP IF YOU ARE [[[[NOT]]]] SANDING A MAGAZINE! (((also, anything else that MAY get damaged in the water, do not add it in here. Do not put your spring in here, you do not need to sand it. It runs a risk of over stretching it if you did. So leave that aside.)))
Place all parts to be sanded inside the bucket of water, dont worry, it should be fine. I placed my entire slide of my gun submerged inside the water including the outer and inner barrel, hop up system, etc. Anything that was attached to the slide.

5. After parts are in water, clean them up a little bit, it is easier to sand down a clean item than one filled with dirt and grease.

6. Wet your sand paper. in the bucket.

7. Proceed to sand the desired item. SAND IN ONE 1 DIRECTION ONLY, OR ELSE YOU WILL GET NASTY AND VERY NOTICEABLE STREAKS IN THE METAL. IN THE EVENT THAT YOU DO MAKE THE MISTAKE IT IS REPAIRABLE BY SANDING IT IN THE CORRECT DIRECTION UNTIL FIXED.

8. At first it will seem like the sand paper is doing nothing.
DONT WORRY. IT IS FINE. IT TAKES QUITE A WHILE WITH 1500. BUT THE QUALITY IS WELLLLLL WORTH IT. You dont get any deep scratches or anything. You get a VERY VERY smooth even finish and the paint is completely removed. The gun is actually smoother and more appealing when 1500 is used.
Anything less will ruin the gun.

9.(Optional) The 600 Sandpaper is for those who wish to sand off VERY GENTLY the top layer off the paint. PLEASE, ONLY DO THIS IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. Make sure it is wet also and go over just a few times very lightly to get the removal of paint started. Once you do this, use the 1500 for the rest of the work.

10. Make sure the sandpaper stays wet as you work through it. It takes a very long time and i cannot stress enough the importance of using ONLY 1500 or higher grit sandpaper. Trust me, you will very much appreciate the quality. You wont be able to tell that your gun was even sanded. It will appear as if it was made that way.

11. If you are using two buckets, use it to dip your sanded piece into to clean off paint and dirt.

12. Once you are done, wipe off with a rag or cloth and use the Metal polish of your choice.
Instructions on how to use metal polish should be straight forward and included on the back of the polish container. After wards, re assemble your gun and enjoy!! =]

Any questions? Feel free to ask! =]

  • oh to do the cocking? haha i just edited out the video of when i set the camera down to grab the gun.

if you mean the custom polishing and all that read the (More Info) section on this video. It has a tutorial.

Its really really cheap and only takes as much time and effort as you want to put into it. More effort = more time = Better looking.

best of luck to you if you try it =]

  • nice rave beads you faggot

  • LIKE IM READING THAT SHIT...LOL FUCK OFF

  • @ninja6kid /watch?v=CAFxgQmxbGI&feature=related then the looks of this gun must make you vomit, right?

Watch that guy shoot on other utube vids as well. Perhaps then you would begin to grasp that the small margins of time and distance vs accuracy that these guys constantly hone their skills to draw, aim, surgically REMOVE a human brain in about 0.6 seconds with double tap AND change magazines, now YOU practice, first see how long it takes for you to pull out your puny homemade knuckle duster :)

  • fruity bracelets....ghey ass rail on airsoft gun...the worst part is its a 1911...with a malll ninja rail..you're quite the litttle fudge packer arent you..

  • im getting the same gun not the evike one a different one but a 5.1 hicapa 1911... i think the rail kinda looks weird considering its a pistol but if its what you like im fine with that.
