Saw Bill Buckner a few weeks ago at a Can Am league game where he is the manager of the Brockton Rox. We spoke a little about the infamous play, and just the 86' World Seiries in general. Nice to see that he can laugh about it now. Great guy!

One of my favorite all time players

Even on one leg he was a great player...and even a great baserunner. Fast when younger, but still ran the bases intelligently after the ankle injury had him limping like Chester on Gunsmoke.

what a classy guy. They dont make players like that anymore.

this was about the best video i have seen on Youtube in sometime.
It would be nice to see 1/3 of today's players overtly show this kinda class on a regular basis.

From a Mets fan, I have mad respect for Bill. It was a flub that happened, lucky for us. We still had to finish out the series to win it all.

I definitely agree that Mookie Wilson is a class act here...I think trash-talking in sports is dumb and overrated, anyway; I personally believe in good sportsmanship, and Mr. Wilson here is a prime example of that! It's very cool to see that he showed a lot of respect to Bill Buckner
